Binance CEO Accuses Nigerian Officials of Coercion in Detention of Former Team Leader

Binance CEO Richard Teng has accused Nigerian officials of attempting to coerce the company into a secret settlement paid in cryptocurrency. Gambaryan was detained while on a business trip to Nigeria, and Binance claims that the Nigerian government is holding him and another employee against their will. Binance has shut down certain services in Nigeria in response to the situation and is seeking to resolve it to secure Gambaryan's release.
